Capital Market Infrastructure Risk Ratings are Thomas Murray's opinion of the post trade risk exposures to which asset owners, including pension funds, mutual funds and insurance companies, are exposed when buying or selling securities in local capital markets. These ratings have been developed in response to investors' needs for analyses of these risks, none of which are mitigated by global custodians.
Thomas Murray's Capital Market Infrastructure Risk Ratings provide users with a risk rating of local market settlement and custody infrastructures throughout the world. The overall Market Risk Rating and associated Risk Exposure Assessment Ratings use the standard AAA through C rating notations. Notification of risk changes and how they impact an investor's risk exposure are e-mailed to clients daily.
